My name's Rob Plevin. I have been running a busy training company for 15 years following a career as a special ed teacher and deputy head teacher.
In a recent survey on my website I asked teachers one simple question...
'What's the biggest teaching-related problem you face?'
Obviously there were many different answers but there was one answer which stood out. An overwhelming number of teachers said their biggest problem was:
LACK OF TIME
Around half of the teachers who completed the survey cited workload and time pressure as the major hurdle they face in terms of being able to teach and help their students learn. Many also complained that the associated stress is seriously impacting on their mental and physical wellbeing.

I know how this feels - I ended up in hospital in my 40s due to chronic fatigue.
I had completely BURNED OUT due to workload (and not taking time to look after myself).
There was simply no time to look after myself, you see. There was no time for work-life balance or wellbeing.
I used to promise myself I'd have a good rest at the weekend or next week - once I'd got the current pile of work out of the way.
But the rest period never came. There was always another pile of paperwork or another overdue task to complete.
After a warning from specialists that I needed to get a handle on my stress levels... I knew I HAD to either give up my work or find a way of coping with the immense workload and the overwhelming pressure.
And that's exactly what I did.
Over a period of several months I gradually discovered (partly by accident) that by making some very simple changes to the way I was approaching my life, I could accomplish far, far more in less time and without putting myself through Hell in the process.
These changes have enabled me to ACHIEVE MUCH MORE... in MUCH LESS TIME by working in a healthier, more organised, focused manner.
And these changes aren't just about being more productive at work. My improved organisation and focus has improved every area of my life because I now have more of that most precious commodity... MORE FREE TIME!
